The Long portfolio. Today we are introducing the long portfolio. The list of stocks are filtered for sector performance, seasonality and market bias. The market (Nifty) bias is positive for a few trading days ahead as Nifty still seems to be completing the ii sub minor wave up. This positive bias should benefit the potential outperformers and cause marginal real moves for underperforming sectors. Our Jiseki rankings indicate BSE Real and CNXIT should continue to push higher, while NSEBANK and Auto sector might just see marginal moves or stagnation.
We have added Housing Development and Infrastructure and Reliance Com to our current positive list. These are long spot portfolio. We will be using futures for our short only portfolio. We want to carry our long positions for an intermediate multi week period. CNXIT subminor view suggests higher prices in the next trading days ahead. Key levels to watch lie at 7,300. Above respective levels the subminor (few days) view remains positive. Tech Mahindra remains positive. The intermediate structure looks like a potential Double Bottom and prices could push higher till first targets till psychological 800.
